This term P6/7 have been involved in a transition project using the playstation game, guitar hero as our stimulus for out project. We have been looking at music from across the world with Mrs Payne and working with a dance instructor, James in order to create a routine to a rock song.
The children have been working in bands. They have organised world tours, designed logos, and are soon to be making t-shirts.
Here are what the children think of the project:
Courtney: It is smart and you get to play the playstation. It is also making us work as a team.
Scott: Amazing that you actually get to do fun stuff in school.
Ceilidh: I think its fun and I think its interesting and makes us work together.
Craig: Although I am not very good at the game I am really enjoying the project.
Connor: Its a good project and its better than work.
Stuart: Its amazing and really enjoyable.

On Wednesday our class were given the opportunity to taste a variety of breads and chutneys eaten by many people over India. We were given Naan Breads, Chapatis, Parathas and Purees. We all tried something that we hadn’t tried before. It was really good to be able to try something different. Primary 6/7 will leave their comments regarding what they thought of the food!

On Wednesday this week we learned how to add stuff to our class web site.
We found out how to:
- login to a web site
- write and publish new posts, which are like news stories
- leave comments on one another’s posts
- upload pictures and add them to our posts
We practised with some training sites, such as this one and this one. By the end of it we had all managed to do everything - and we’d even found out how to do some fun stuff too, like this!
