Orienteering
The pupils of P4/5 & P6/7 went Orienteering on Wednesday 16th January 2008. It was a bright, but cold winter’s day which was perfect for their activity, as it had been raining for a few days before this!
Both classes went to Newhailes House and Gardens, just outside Musselburgh, for their Orienteering with Alistair Seagroatt, Principal Teacher of East Lothian Outdoor Education Service.
The classes split into groups, and following maps, found different items around the grounds of Newhailes House.
Great fun was had by all, and everybody returned to school in the afternoon, refreshed and exhausted!
