What have P4/5 been doing?
Since the beginning of term in August, P4/5 have been busy learning about three main topics - health, electricity and William Wallace.
The children learnt how to make electrical circuits and this was thoroughly enjoyed by everybody - there are many budding engineers amongst the class!!

The dangers of electricity were discussed and the children all went into the school playground to look at the electricity substation and the rules to be followed around it. The children took photos of this and the surrounding electricity pylons to make an electricity display in the classroom.
The P4/5 pupils have also been thoroughly engrossed in a project about William Wallace. The whole class have been totally enthusiastic and have shown huge interest in this over the last few weeks. The highlight of this project, was a visit to the Wallace Monument and The Heritage Centre at Bannockburn on Wednesday 10th October 2007.
