Fun Maths Afternoon
After the recent success of Primary 4/5 maths games afternoon, Primary 3/4 invited parents/carers to have another fun maths experience playing board games.
This event was so popular that we had twelve adults willing to participate and we had to borrow some extra children from Primary 4/5 so there were enough children in each group.
As you will see from the photographs a great time was had by all but especially by the adults. On a serious note the children all came back saying they had learned new things and had great fun.
Some interesting comments from parents included that ‘you can have fun when learning’, “gave me ideas to work with my child at home” and “enjoyed playing games with my child, shows it does not have to be a Playstation’.
Look out in the future for other chances to play mjaths games with P1/2 and P6/7.
