The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig
P1/2 read a story called ‘The Three Littlw Woves and the Big Bad Pig’ which they found funny because in the book, the pig is nasty and the wolves are nice.
The children read this story because they have been learning about materials. They now know that buildings are made from different materials but that they need to be made from strong materials like bricks and stones.
The big bad pig in the story tried to blow down the wolves houses using drills and even dynamite! The wolves knew they needed to build a house out of very strong materials.
Miss Ritchie, Mrs Simpson and the children then made and painted wonderful pictures of the Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig which are now displayed in their cloakrooms.
