P1/2 Visit to Carberry Woods
Mrs Eliott, Mrs Simpson, Mrs Campbell & all of the P1/2 pupils enjoyed a walk and visit to Carberry Woods on Friday 12th October.
It was a beautiful, crisp, autumn morning and the children were particularly excited and ready to leave right after registration as the trip had been cancelled earlier in the week due to the heavy rain!
When the class reached Carberry Woods, they enjoyed looking at the autumnal colours on the trees and plants, walking through and kicking the crunchy leaves that had fallen off the trees, they did some bark rubbing and they collected some fallen leaves and conkers.
The children returned to school rosy cheeked and exhausted, ready for their half term holiday.
