Estimating
The children from P1/2 recently tried their hand at estimating.
Mrs Simpson drew around somebody with chalk and the other pupils then had to estimate how many plastic pots it would take to fill the area inside the chalk.
The estimates were VERY varied and ranged from 16 - 100. After filling the area with plastic pots, the children counted them and saw that it took 87 to fill the whole area!
Well done to Robbie who’s estimate was closest!
