We have been SO busy in the Nursery!
The nursery children have covered a number of topics already in just six weeks - they are the seashore, Jewish New Year and Harvest.
In the middle of September as part of their study on the seashore, all of the nursery children, Mrs Carde, Mrs Campbell and all parents took the bus to Musseburgh Harbour. It was a great outing and everybody had a thoroughly good time!!
The 29th September saw the start of the Jewish New Year, and the nursery children were very enthusiastic to learn all about it! They listened to the blowing of the shofar on the interactive whiteboard and made challah bread!
Harvest is once again almost upon us. The pupils from the Nursery Class have been grinding corn to make flour, baking biscuits and making wonderful harvest pictures by rubbing over ears of corn!
