Birds and Caring for Wildlife

The children from the Nursery Class have been very busy this week (commencing 18th February 2008) looking at Birds and Caring for Wildlife.

All of the children have made bird cake and pine cone feeders which are now out in the Nursery Garden for the birds to feed on. 

The children also made cardboard model birds, complete with colourful feathers and they all enjoyed taking these out into the garden to watch them fly.  Cameron was particularly mesmerised when the wind caught his bird’s wings and it lifted  into the air and started to fly!

There are also wonderful paintings, drawings and gluings of birds decorating the whole of the nursery class!
