Key Questions about John Muir (January 2008)
The children of P4/5 are working towards their Discovery Award part of the John Muir Award.
They started by deciding on the key questions to find out about John Muir. Each pupil chose 3 questions in ? shape for a class display. The class was then divided into groups of 3 to carry out a group research task. They used the internet to research John Muir and made a poster of their facts which each group then presented to the class.
Although some children were initially daunted by this prospect, they all showed great confidence in their public speaking.
