Exploring the School Grounds (w/c 4th February 2008)
During the week commencing 4th February 2008, the class began the explore the schools grounds. They discussed what makes it a wild place and came up with trees, countryside and animals (i.e worms, birds, moles and minibeasts, to name a few).
They performed a ’raindance’ to see the worms from underground. This led to a discussion about how even if they cannot see the worms, the school grounds are still home to many different animals.
