Sports Day - June 2008
The pupils from P1 - P7 enjoyed a sunny (albeit, a bit cloudy) Friday morning on the school field for their Sports Day.
The event was well supported by many parents/carers, grand parents, aunties, uncles and family friends. We would like to say Thank You to everybody who came along to support the children in this way.

Goodbyes and Hellos!

Visit to Primary 4 & 5 children by author Lari Don
[ June 6, 2008; 10:00 am to 11:00 am. ]
A visit by author Lari Don to our Primary 4 & 5 children has been arranged by Scottish Book Trust for 6th June 2008. Lari is a storyteller who has just published her first book, First Aid for Fairies and Other Fabled Beasts.

P7 Walk to School Week Effort
The pupils of P7 attended a transition event at Musselburgh Grammar School on Monday 12th May (please see the separate post for information on this).

Baby Animals & Letters of the Week in our Nursery
The Nursery children have been learning about ‘baby aniimals’.
They have enjoyed playing with domestic and wild animals and matching the mothers and babies. The children also made animal biscuits which were very tasty!

Our P7 pupils recently enjoyed a wonderful week at camp at Kingswood in Northumberland.

Goodbye to Mrs Gilbert
Today, everybody at the school said farewell to Mrs Moira Gilbert, Acting Principal Teacher, who has returned to Musselburgh Burgh Primary School after a period of 8 months with Whitecraig Primary.
We all wish her well.
