Easter Holidays
[ March 21, 2008 to April 7, 2008. ] The last day of term for the Nursery Class is WEDNESDAY 19TH MARCH 2008, with their date of return being TUESDAY 8TH APRIL 2008 at 8.50am
The last day of term for the Children in P1 - P7 is THURSDAY 20th MARCH 2008, with their date of return also being TUESDAY 8TH APRIL 2008 AT 8.55am

Scholastic Book Fair
Thank you to everybody who purchased items from the School Book Fair last week.
A total of £365.00 worth of books were purchased and this means that we earned £127.00 worth of commission. This will be used to purchase more books from Scholastic for the school.

World Maths Day - 5th March 2008
The pupils from P1 - P7 all took part in World Maths Day on 5th March 2008.
During the day the children took part in maths activities/challenges against children from all around the world. These included children from Austrailia, Malaysia, China and United Arab Emirates to name a few.

P1/2 have been busy in the School Garden
Some of the children from P1/2 have been working with Rosie from East Lothian Roots & Fruits in the school garden.
The children worked in groups and spent some time clearing the weeds and last years dead plants from their garden bed. They then enjoyed their time raking the soil and preparing the bed ready for planting vegetables later this [...]

The Village of Whitecraig by P3/4
Whilst working on their project about the Village of Whitecraig, the children in P3/4 decided that people from outwith Whitecraig don’t really know anything about it. Mrs Gilbert informed the children that they were going to be given the opportunity to change this at a showcase event which was to be held at Musselburgh Grammar School.
