P1/2 Outing to Roseisle Garage - Transport Project

[ January 30, 2008; 9:00 am to 11:00 am. ] As a continuation to their Transport Project, Miss Ritchie, Mrs Simpson and the children from P1/2 will visit Roseisle Garage in Whitecraig on Wednesday 30th January 2008.

The children will leave school and walk through Whitecraig to the garage. Whilst there they will have the opportunity to look at and sketch pictures of the cars.

Nursery Class Enjoy a Burns Supper

To recognise Burns Day, the children from Whitecraig Nursery enjoyed a Burns Supper on Thursday 24th January.

Whitecraig Food Co-Op 22 January 2008

Unfortunately, due to staff sickness at Roots & Fruits, the Food Co-Op WILL NOT be at Whitecraig Primary School on Tuesday 22nd January 2008.

P4/5 & P6/7 Orienteering

The pupils of P4/5 & P6/7 went Orienteering on Wednesday 16th January 2008. It was a bright, but cold winter’s day which was perfect for their activity, as it had been raining for a few days before this!

Healthy Tuck Shop

The Health Group have been very busy since the Christmas holidays. 
They have started a healthy tuckshop during morning break where the pupils from Primary 3 -  7 can buy fruit for 10 pence a piece.  The tuckshop is open every morning break time and sells a variety of fruit.

Cold Climates

The children at Whitecraig Nursery Class have started 2008 by learning about “Cold Climates”.
They have been learning about life in the Arctic and Antartic i.e. Polar Bears, Penguins, Innuits etc. They are also learning about changes of state i.e. water -> ice ->water->steam and also how people and animals stay warm.
