Ladies Pamper Evening - P.S.A Fundraising Event

Health Week 26th November - 30th November 2007

[ November 26, 2007; 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. November 27, 2007; November 28, 2007; 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. November 29, 2007; 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. November 30, 2007; 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. ] All of the pupils of Whitecraig Primary School (Nursery - P7) will be taking part in a Health Week from Monday 26th November to Friday 30th November 2007.

A number of fun and exciting activities have been planned and will include Football, Dance, Rugby, Food Tasting, Funky Fitness and Hockey along with an Antibullying Workshop and the childrens [...]

Winter has arrived in P1/2

Winter has certainly arrived in our P1/2 class. The children have been making wonderful winter scenes which are displayed outside their classroom.  They show wonderful tree silhouettes on a wintery, snowy background. 
Also in the infant corridor is a striking Jack Frost which was made by Mrs Simpson and painted an icy silvery blue by all of the children! [...]

Haunted Heritage Roadshow

Friday 16th November 2007 saw the arrival of the Haunted Heritage Roadshow at Whitecraig Primary School. Pupils from the P4/5 and P6/7 classes attended these sessions run by Historic Scotland.

Individual and Family School Photos

Pupils recently had their individual photos taken in school and proofs have now been sent home.
If you wish to purchase copies/packs of your childs photo, you must return the payment and proof to school within 10 days. Any payments received after this will incur a postage charge from the photographer.

P3/4 Dress as Your Favourite Character from a Book Day

As you will see from the P3/4 class page, the pupils of P3/4 have recently been discussing the benefits and importance of reading for enjoyment.

New P1 pupils in 2008/2009

[ November 26, 2007; 9:00 am to 11:00 am. ] Enrolment for pupils who are due to start P1 in August 2008, will take place on Monday 26th November 2007.

Pupils who are currently in Whitecraig Nursery Class will shortly receive a letter with their enrolment appointment time.

Parents/carers should bring a copy of their childs birth certificate and proof of address i.e. utility bill or council [...]

P1/2 Halloween Party

The children from P1/2 enjoyed a Halloween party yesterday at the end of the school day!
They all dressed up in their spooky Halloween costumes, including Mrs Elliott & Mrs Simpson. They all had a fun time, which we are sure that you can see from their pictures!
