Nursery Class - Sponsored Walk 31/10/07
[ October 31, 2007; 9:15 am to 10:15 am. ] The pupils, teachers and parents from the Nursery Class are taking part in a Witches and Warlocks Sponsored Walk on 31st October. The children will be in their favourite Halloween Fancy Dress costume and the walk is in aid of Send a Cow/Livestock for Life and Whitecraig Nursery Class.

Parent & Teacher Consultations
[ November 6, 2007; 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. November 7, 2007; 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. ] Parents evenings with class teachers are on Tuesday 6th November from 6.00-8.00pm & Wednesday 7th November from 4.00-6.00pm
Letters will be sent home notifying parents/carers of their appointment times the week beginning 29th October 2007.
The Book Fair will also be in school on these evenings.

Judo Taster Sessions
The Active Schools Co-Ordinator arranged for all of the pupils from the P1- P7 classes to receive Judo Taster Sessions from Destination Judo before the half term holiday.
All of the classes thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and some of the pupils liked it so much that they are going to take up the sport as an out-of-school hobby.

Harvest Festival Donations to Whitecraig Day Centre
Pupils generously donated many items at the Harvest Assembly which was held on 11th October at St. Johns Church.
The items were taken to Whitecraig Day Centre by the P6/7 pupils on 24th October and all visitors who were there were presented with a food parcel to take away with them. Extra parcels were kept for those [...]

Mental Maths Games Evening
[ October 30, 2007; 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. ] Parents/carers will recently have received personal invitations from their children to attend the Mental Maths Games Evening on 30th October 2007 at 7.00pm.

Walk to School Week - May 2007 - Prize Winners
Our newly appointed Junior Road Safety Officers (JRSO) recently attended the JRSO Welcome Meeting in Port Seton.

Half Term Holiday
[ October 12, 2007 to October 22, 2007. ] Pupils finish at lunchtime on Friday 12th October for their half term holiday and return on Tuesday 23rd October 2007 at 8.55am.
Staff return on Monday 22nd October 2007 for an in-service day.

P1/2 & P6/7 enjoy Y-Dancing!
The children from P1/2 & P6/7 have been taking part in Y-dance for the last five weeks. They have been learning how to do street-dance moves. They worked in groups to the dance that they had been taught.
