We have been learning about the Romans.
We have been learning a song and we made timelines. We looked in an atlas to see where they found their treasure and we wrote Roman stories. We looked at Roman objects like Roman coins, knukle bones (they were used as a game) wooden writing tablets and pottery. We learned about the Roman army and games. We wrote out information about the Romans.
Here are some of the things we liked.
Amy liked learning about the games. Duncan liked learning about the gods. Melissa liked learning about Roman towns and invasions. Mogan like learning about the Celtic round houses. Fraser liked learning about the Roman songs and Alex liked learning about the knuckle bones and games.

We are learning about living things!!
We are learning about living things! We have been learning actively by looking at plants in the school garden. We identified them by looking at the shape and colour of petals, we smelled them too. We found Lavender, Curry plants, chives, mint, daffodils, daisies, a Rowan tree and lots more, we had great fun!
We are also looking after some tadpoles so that we can watch them change and grow. We like using the magnifying glasses to look at them.
First they were frogspawn and then they grew tails and hatched out, then they got gills. They are much bigger now and are starting to get back legs!!
