We have been learning more about Dinosaurs this week.  This week we have been learning about Stegosaurus.  We have learned that Stegosaurus had plates on his back to soak up the sun and keep him warm.  We also learned that he had spikes on his tail to protect himself from other dinosaurs.  Lastly, we learned that Stegosaurus was a plant eater and that means he is a herbivore.

We have learned our last 3 sounds this week.  They were ue, er and ar and now we are looking forward to finding out what we are going to be learning now.

Today we have met our new teacher.  Her name is Miss Freeman and she will be teaching us when Miss Grieve leaves.  She came in today and helped us with some of our measuring activities.

This week we learned about Stegosaurus. We learned that Stegosaurus had plates on its back to keep it warm and spikes on its tail to protect its self from other dinosaurs that are carnivores.  Stegosaurus was a plant eater. Plant eaters are called herbivores.

We have learned our last 3 sounds this week. They are ue, er and ar. We learned to write words with these sounds and some of us learned to write sentences. We are learning to remember finger spaces in between words and to put full stops at the end.
