Week 3 in Primary 3! September 5, 2008

We would like to welcome a new member to our class HELLO SOPHIE! Oh but we would also like to say Goodbye to William who has started a new school
ART
Lewis Sm wants to tell everyone about making crabs in class this week. We made a crab using different materials. We used foil, tissue paper and paper. Brooke liked scrunching the foil into a ball. Ryan liked making the eyes because they stick up! Callum liked glueing the eyes and sticking them on. Amy liked sticking the tissue paper on because it was sticky. Mrs Betteridge was very impressed at how well the boys and girls made their crabs and tidied up afterwards. She gave everybody two stampers for their effort.
DRAMA
Aaron liked drama with Mrs Fisher. He enjoyed pretending to do diving and reading maps! Lewis P. has just said he found REAL maps! Abbie C said there was no food about so everybody had to use the maps to find food! Jay, Ben, Alia, Sophie and Lewis Sm went to the jungle and looked for bananas. Lewis Sm stole the food in his group - the others were hungry! Jay was very upset in particular! What a great imagination you have Primary 3!
WRITING
Ryan wrote a wonderful writer’s craft about Noah’s Ark. He remembered to use capital letters and full stops!
PUPIL COUNCIL
Today we chose our pupil council members. For primary 3 they are Amy and Cameron. Well done!

What a busy week - I like the idea that you were pretending to dive when doing drama with Mrs Fisher - I wonder if any of you can swim?? You must let me know.
