Hello from Primary 1! September 3, 2008
Posted by ssmart in : Primary 1 , trackbackWe are very busy in P1 and are enjoying being in school full time now! We have learned s, a, t, i, p and n and love singing the songs for each sound! We are also trying to remember all the Golden Rules. Here they are:
Do be gentle
Do be kind and helpful
Do listen to others
Do be honest
Do work hard
Do look after property

I am so pleased to see that people are trying to keep the golden rules - well done P1.
We’re glad to see that there is this great website dedicated to the school. We have told our families about the site and they are keen to check on Dillon’s progress.
Dillon will be bringing in some pottery etc. These were found in a field at New Winton, that was previously a place where the staff of Winton House used to dump broken plates and such. His find includes medicine bottles from around 1860 and clay marbles. They are currently being cleaned and any sharp edges are taken off, and we hope to bring them in for the children to view in about a weeks time!
Cameron is enjoying himself in P1. He says the school is really cool. He loves to play in the sand, the water and he likes to play wth the jigsaws.
Callum loves being in P1 and learning all the sounds. He likes playing with the bricks and playing with the new friends that he has made at Wallyford Primary. He wants to say hello to everyone in his class.
