Ready, Steady, Go………. August 20, 2008
Posted by dbeveridge in : Head Teacher , trackbackEven although the children have only been back at school for 3 days now, people are involved in lots of different interesting learning challenges! P7 have started to improve their mental number skills by using Nintendo DSs and Brain Training - we’ll let you know how they get on. P6, P4/5 and P3 have been experimenting with different materials in their art lessons. P5 know how to pass the squeeze! All our P2 have shared the many things they took art in over the summer holidays and drawn fabulous pictures to support their writing. P1 children have moved on from nursery and have already learnt a new sound, “S”! They look so smart in their new school uniforms. Infact everyone is wearing uniform and look proud to be a Wallyford pupil.
We welcome Mr Lavery as our new depute head teacher. He has visited our classes and is quickly learning all our names! Welcome also to Miss Hardie and Mrs Fish. I hope everyone enjoys their first week back at school and also makes the most out of all the learning opportunities they take part in this year.
