This is what I wrote in my diary on Thursday:
22/5/2008
We got up and did our usual routine except I was woke up by people singing happy birthday (it is my birthday). Today I was doing orinteering which was tiring, I was with Kirstin and she is fast at running and I am not! Then we did climbing and absailing which was amazing and terrifing. First we had to climb up a really steep hill and make it to the top. Then we had to absail down a 50ft cliff. I was scared and Mr Dagger said it was my birthday treat from him, filling me with fear! I made it though and I was shaking like mad when I got to the bottem. Then we went to the smaller quarry to do more climbing. I got stuck on one of the climbs and Kirstin was holding onto my harness, I was laughing and scared at the same time! The disco was tonight, on my birthday what are the chances! It was great fun and we mixed with other schools really well. I sad about going home tomorrow but hyper about being 12!

Primary 7 were given their whole class challenge today. They have to organise an anti - bullying presentation and show their anti - bullying movies to the whole  school, parents and one other P7 from another local school. Refreshments for all visitors must be provided.

The children were issued the challenges and then left to organise themselves using their critical skills.

They got off to a good start with Finlay and Kirstin showing excellent facilitating skills and helping the class chunk the challenge and really understand what it is that they have to do.

The presentation will be on May 16th at 1.45pm
