I saw this from ‘the beeb’ and wasn’t sure what to make of it…
“Screaming Jelly Babies and exploding puddings are being used to attract more recruits into science teaching”
Though Science can be associated with exciting experiments, is this really [...]

Grange Hill- Gone But Never Forgotten!

Controller of CBBC Anne Gilchrist brought to an end much speculation about the future of the series.
“The lives of children [...]

This week and weekend I, along with a number of other colleagues from Scotland, attended the BETT Show at London’s Olympia. BETT is one of the world’s largest educational technology events. It had been my intention to write one or two posts during my time there, however time simply did not allow.
One train journey, three [...]

Wordpress Tutorials.

The platform that supports EduBuzz is called Wordpress.  On Friday I ran a session on ‘Online Publishing’ at the Musselburgh Grammar School Teachmeet. One particular set of resources that I directed staff towards was the Wordpress tutorials that Andrew Brown  has developed. Although they are based upon a single user platform, the majority of the footage [...]

Today I spent the afternoon at Humbie Primary School. Humbie is a small School situated about 15 miles outside Haddington in East Lothian. Visualisers are basically very high powered digital/video cameras that [...]
