Internet Safety Session: North Berwick

Last week we held the fifth session at Knox Academy in Haddington.
One teacher’s feedback:
“I really enjoyed the presentation last night, it is to be discussed at my Departmental Meeting next week as we don’t have anything like this in my region at present. Excellent delivery of a very serious issue - well done! “
Tonight (Tuesday [...]

EduBuzz: Planning The Conference

This afternoon I attended May’s EduBuzz meeting at John Muir House, chaired by Don Ledingham. As always there was a lot to discuss, though the development of EduBuzz in East Lothian was our main topic. This initiative has come on leaps and bounds within the last five months. This is largely due to the ongoing [...]

On Monday, I [...]

Today, as you may have gathered from my last post, I travelled over to the sunny West side. I had been invited to attend an interview in Glasgow with Learning and Teaching Scotland. LTS have commissioned an external review which will look at:
“Our state of readiness for the roll out of Glow.”
And what [...]

Exc-el 2007

The third term has started on a very positive note for me. My pupils and I are ‘bright eyed and bushy tailed’ after a well deserved Christmas break.
On Monday I attended the Exc-el Board Meeting. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the steering of online learning within East Lothian and our visions for [...]
