 And I am back after a relaxing break.

Between two great holidays, plans for the Glow rollout, NQT Induction days and buying my all new (white) Eee PC I am not sure where to start. During the next few weeks I will share as many thoughts as possible.

Today David Gilmour and I ventured through to the LTS Headquarters at the Optima building in Glasgow. Ewan McIntosh was presenting a seminar on delivering successful presentations. As both David and I are hosting seminars at this year’s Scottish Learning Festival, we were very keen to attend. As always we were not to be disappointed. Ewan covered lots of really useful stuff. Following the presentation it was an added bonus to catch up with a number of my Web 2.0 buddies. There was a lot to catch up on; the TeachMeet at the Scottish Learning Festival being a hot topic.

Tomorrow David Gilmour and I will be hosting sessions for the NQTs who are joining East Lothian this academic year. We will be introducing them to our EduBuzz Weblogging platform, podcasts and…. Glow! During the summer break David and Elizabeth set up a Probationer Glow Group. This group will provide a central place for our NQTs to share, discuss and interact.

Anyway, an exciting term lies ahead!
