Google Earth And Maps Twilight Session

Tonight my colleague, Elizabeth Cowan, and I attended a Twilight session at Prestonpans Education Centre. The session was hosted by Ollie Bray (Ollie is a Depute Head Teacher at Musselburgh Grammar School). This evening Ollie gave us lively presentation on Google Earth and how to maximise its potential use in the classroom. In the past I have always opted for local.live when looking at maps and ariel views, however the features that Google Earth offers are far superior.
I won’t say any more, but click here to read Ollie’s summary (it includes the screen cast and links he used this evening).
Well done and thanks Ollie.

No problem - hopefully we can run another session in the Summer term? Or even develop a Teachmeet Workshop? Ollie

Another session in the Summer term would be super, or a TeachMeet workshop option even better!
I will put it to the team.
