A New Role

In September I was successfully appointed as Temporary ‘Education Support Officer’ for East Lothian Council. This post is an internal secondment. Once my teaching position at Knox Academy has been temporarily filled I will start my new post. This will be based at John Muir House in Haddington. During this secondment I will be working along side colleagues including Karen Robertson, Elizabeth Cowan, Dave Rawson and David Gilmour. As it is the October break, I was able to attend a meeting at John Muir House yesterday. I have to say I am really looking forward to the challenges that this post will bring!

I know you were in the frame so it is great to hear that you’ve been appointed… and also looking forward to hearing how your approach to ICT changes as you grow into the job.
