One For All Teachers Of Chemistry

Though Biology, Chemistry and Physics are more or less discreet Sciences post the 5-14 Curriculum (to become 3-18?), they will always overlap to a certain degree. Teaching Biology in Scottish Schools does mean that we refer to the Periodic table when studying topics that contain “elements” (excuse the pun! ;-)) of Chemistry. Although this version is too advanced for the younger Biologists, it is certainly an interesting one.

Wasn’t it Ernest Rutherford that said: “In science there is only physics; all the rest is stamp collecting.”

Was it not Einstein who said:
“Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds”
