Factoid Number 7: End of Term!!!
Here in East Lothian, we are on the count down to the end of term. Last year we decided to hold an end of term quiz. As there isn’t time to hold the event as a group we decided to give out copies of the CD to participating teams (five pounds per team). The idea here is that they all go off during the last week of term and try to put a title to the theme tune. Last year was very successful. We raised around sixty pounds for charity. The competition became fierce and staff ‘banter’ was just great!
This year, I decided to run the same event with an all new compellation. Today, 4pm was the deadline for entries, so I thought I would share some of the toughest tracks with you. Can you name them..?

Tomorrow we will hold our end of term staff BBQ where the winners will be announced.
However, we have a tie! I have consulted an un-named independent adjudicator, who has suggested I have a tie breaker. I will work on that at some point tonight. In the meantime, if you would like a copy of this (or last) years quiz (approx 52 tracks each); I will gladly pop one in the post. They provide great fun and are a fantastic way to end the term whilst helping very worth while causes.
All proceeds from my quiz this year will go to Marie Curie. Earlier this year, my very good friend and former colleague Aly Gordon passed away due to cancer. Marie Curie made his last few days far more comfortable.

You might want to rename the files - if you look at this page via Bloglines, the names of the MP3s are there for all to see! Sadly enough, I would have been able to name them even without that help, but I’ll keep my mouth shut on the answers

How bizarre…t’was showing the file names, but now all is well…the wonders of technology!!

Really weird!!! I have had a look at my aggregator (netvibes) and I can’t detect any traces of titles. Is this something to do with encoding?

Not sure, but they still show up if you hover the mouse over the links in Bloglines… and calling me a Fifer? No need for that!
