London: Heading Home Via Alton Towers!

Nemesis- Alton Towers

Miss Watson and Mr Wren experience Nemesis!

On Thursday morning we departed London. On route back to Scotland we were scheduled to spend the afternoon at Alton Towers. I am sure most of you will be aware of how popular a destination Alton Towers is. I won’t give you a report on our experiences there, but as you can imagine, this was one part of the trip that the pupils had been talking about for a long time.

I can’t believe I actually did this!

If you don’t count the hours spent travelling to and from London, our trip lasted around 72 hours. In hindsight, I am not sure how we managed to pack so much in?!

  • Tess I cannot believe you packed so much in it sounds like a great trip and reminds me of all the things I should have done when I lived there! One day…..

  • Just to let you know how much I’ve enjoyed reading your blog posts from London. When I was at Dunbar Grammar we set up a blog when we went to Yosemite. The response from parents and other pupils about the blog was exceptional.

Your posts provide an insight into trips which would otherwise be impossible .

  • Thank you Don. Next year, I am hoping that we will be able to provide a ‘Trip’ website where any teachers, pupils and/or parents can choose to collaborate, share and actively be engaged and enthused within.
