Second Glow Mentor’s Meeting 2007
Today I attended the East Lothian’s second Glow Mentor’s meeting of 2007. During the meeting this morning, we discussed many issues surrounding the forth-coming Phase 2 trial of Glow. The issues we discussed included:
Training of Mentors
Use of online tools
Remote access of the portal
The use of the materials we are developing (i.e. CPD sessions on podcasting/digital imaging/EduBuzz etc).
The suitability of times for these CPD sessions to run
Dates for Glow observation/experiments at Knox
During the second half of today’s meeting, we were then able to catch a quick glimpse of the Phase 2 portal. Initially, I was a little disappointed. At the meeting, we were only able to quickly browse a few of the pages and links. It was looking like not much had changed.
However, this afternoon, I was able to have a good rummage and a bit of an experiment…
