Environment Forum Launch on 31 May May 13, 2008

East Lothian Council are hosting an Environment Forum event on Saturday 31 May in Musselburgh, which will be “an opportunity for communities and organisations to identify the environmental challenges that face East Lothian, shape our collective response”.

Guest speakers include Alan Blackie, Chief Executive of East Lothian Council, Eurig Scandrett from Queen Margaret University and  Philip Revell from Sustaining Dunbar. Registration starts at 9.15am and will end with a buffet lunch at 1pm.

There will be a Market Place and two workshops looking at:
• The key environmental sustainability challenges facing East Lothian and how these affect local residents;
• An East Lothian Environment Forum: how should it be structured and what could a forum achieve.”
