Food Group Meeting Wed 17th Sept September 11, 2008

The food group will be having a meeting on wed 17th sept at 6pm in Hallhill centre. The main topic for discussion is the community allotment/orchard. Colin Will is keen to take this forward and I have also invited Stuart McPherson along, he is the councils biodiversity officer. There will also be a chance to further plan the Apple Day for oct 18th. All welcome

Bakery Meeting, Tuesday 9th Sept. September 6, 2008

The Bakery group is holding its next meeting at 8pm on Tuesday 9th Sept. at Philip’s house (27 High St.)

We will be reviewing progress with the business plan, discussing the setting up of a legal entity for the group and how best to drive the project forward.  Anyone with an interest in the setting up a community bakery in Dunbar is welcome.

Food Group meetings August 19, 2008

The food group are having their next meeting on Wednesday 27th August at 5.15pm at Isobel Knox’s house, 3 Rosebery Place (on North Road).  Among other things, they will be discussing possible allotments/community gardens at Winterfield.

There will also be a meeting with Stuart Pryde, who has responsiblity for allotment provision with East Lothian Council, on Wednesday 3rd September at 6pm at Hallhill Healthy Living Centre.  Everyone welcome at both these meetings.

Next Co-ordination Group meeting this Wednesday, 13th August, 8pm at Halhill Healthy Living Centre. All welcome.

Agenda to include: minutes and matters arising, updates and information sharing from sub-groups (food, energy, transport, enterprise), Climate Challenge Fund funding proposal, planning our autumn food/apple event/ceilidh etc.
Please do come along and get involved.

Co-ordination Group Meeting July 8, 2008

Co-ordination group meetings are now held on the second Wednesday of the month at 8pm at Hallhill Healthy Living Centre.  Next meetings are therefore on 9th July and 13th August. 

The main purpose of these meetings is to share information and ideas about the various activities of the various sub-groups.  All welcome.
