Basic Moves After School Class

We have spaces available in the new block of Basic Moves After School Class for any P1 child that would like to come along.
We do lots of fun activities that encourage running, jumping, hopping, galloping, throwing and lots more.

Rag Bag Collection Day

The date for the next Rag Bag Collection is Tuesday 15th April.  Please send any unwanted textiles to the school on this Tuesday. We collect all types of clothing, shoes, bags, hats, belts, towels, curtains and bedlinen.

Primary 7B Gather Round

Primary 7B displayed all of their knowledge about charities in a variety of imaginative and interesting ways at Gather Round this morning. There were powerpoints, presentations, facts, questions, fun runs, drama, a traveling £10 note and some millionaires in Charities Den!

P1/2 PLEA!

The P1/2s are hoping to design and then make a Pirate ship for inside their classroom. We talked about the resources they would like for this challenge. P1/2 would like some help gathering any of the following resources:
large cardboard boxes (flat)
old sheets
an old bike wheel - not rusty!
old clothes: shirts, hats, trousers, eye patches!, waistcoats, wigs (not real!)
a parrot (again the children [...]

HEAD LICE

We would like to remind all parents to check their child/ren’s heads at least once a week. Parental vigilance plays the most important role in keeping the spread of this problem under control.

Primary 3/4 have been doing some research on Musselburgh.  They have set up their own website titled ‘Stoneyhill Projects’ and will be posting  their findings over the coming weeks.  We plan to visit the High Street, the Brunton Theatre, the Racecourse and other attractions so that we can create a a website where people can learn about Musselburgh [...]
