End of Term!

Happy Holidays!

Karly Donald in P5 entered the Three Harbours Seafood Festival poster competition and won first place. Her brightly coloured painting of fish can be seen on posters advertising the festival and on the Three Harbours web site. Karly will be at the opening of the festival and will have a table, with chair, set up for her to sit and sign posters for fans to buy.

This year we are performing The Jungle Book as our summer play, with cast among p.4,p.5,p.6 and p.7. The cast are sooo excited and have been practising like mad.

Sophie Cameron will be playing Mowgli, Taylor Mcdonald will play Bagheera and Lucy Archibald as Baloo.

It will be held on the 10th and 11th of june at 7 p.m.It has hits like the Jungle Rythm and I Wanna be Like You! Hope to see you there!

P4 have been lerning about the celts and what they do thay learned about celtic letters
and celtic knots we got to know about lots of intresting things i am enjoying my project.

Primary 4,5,6 and 7 are doing a school play. The school play is jungel book.We have learned 4 songs all ready.

I made an easter bonitque in class.I coloured in a rabbit blue.Then i cut it out.Finally i glued it on.

Primary 5 were doing y dance with Beth in the school gym hall. it was about John muir,we were to excpress our feelings about nature.first we were to be an inside eco sistom by making furnture with our boddies.then we were to be animals,tigars elefants and all sorts,it was great.

On tuseday the 17th of march all of primary 5 went to a dance workshop with beth noble the teacher of the dancing in the gym hall..I was very happy and it made me feel more confident in dancing. I learned lots more about dancing than i already did. we did alot about diffrent movments, with diffrent styles of music.we all really enjoyed our selfs and it was very exciting

On Thursday the 20th of March Pr.7 went to the dining hall to discover the strange findings of planet Out There. Of course we were using our imagination and our planning work to plan a slide show about our trip. I was in a group with Aaron.M, Liam, Chandler and Caitlin our scene of photos was about meeting a strange creature and it came back to Earth with us. I was the Alien named Fannyfoto. Liam was Camander Canary. Aaron was the foot stool and a crew member. Chandler was a chair and a member of the crew. Caitlin was a spokes person and we all got to say a little part. In one picture Comander Canary took a sample of the Alien creatures blood to be tested at one of the top labs in the space hut. The goverment gave us fund money and the trip went as good as it could have been. Now I must tell you this didn’t really happen there and then but we never know NASA could be on that planet and doing what we were imagining and we may be getting older but our imagenations just stay the same.
