On Tuesday the 18th of November P5 did a music workshop with a music composer called David Troughton. We did lots of games like listening games and whats that sound? We also listened to classical music that he made up. David read us a story and we had to make music to go along with it. I learned a lot more about music.My favourite part was when he was doing the reflecting thing with the slinkies. I really enjoyed it. It made me feel happy.

I did the music in action workshop with Mr Troughton. I had a taster of the guitar and i felt professional. In the morning we listened to some music, it was classical music from different musicals. After he played the music we said how it made us feel. We played a game where we had to close our eyes and listen to the sounds and copy the sounds that he made. At the end of the day we practised a story called ‘The dream thief’ and we showed Primary 4 the story and they thought it was excellent. That was my super workshop and I really enjoyed it. P.2 recently enjoyed a karate sesstion. They have posted some of their comments.
Jamie said, “I liked when we kicked the pads and jumped really really high!I also liked punching the pads.”
Pippa said,”I liked it when we made funny noises like this KIYA!! I thought it was really really funny!!!!!”

primary 2 have been working on a play called ‘The Gigantic Star’.Wiktoria said, “I have enjoyed getting ready for our play. I like the song ‘just for you’.”
Louis said, “I think its fun when we sing our songs my favourite song is called ‘just for you’.”

I really enjoyed the funday.My favorite game was grannies footsteps. I liked it when i was the granny and told people to move backwards!!!

Primary 1 enjoyed a karate taster session yesterday. They really had great fun trying out a new sport. Chris, the karate teacher, was very enthusiastic and the class had a thrilling time. Here are some of their comments…
Cameron said “I enjoyed when we warmed up because we got to play dodgeball!It was funny because if you got hit you had to do 3 pressups!!! My favorite part of the karate was jumping up high and kicking the pads.”
Charlotte jonston said “My favorite part was punching and making funny noises!It was fun when I got to punch first! I really really liked playing dodgeball,I didn’t get hit because I am as fast as a cheatah!!!”
Chloe Suthade said “I liked playing dodeball too because you had to chuck balls at each other.I liked working with my team and earning points by kicking the pads!!!”

A few days ago my class went on a trip to dominos pizza where we got to make a pizza.I put pepparoni on mine and it was lovely.My favorite part was when you flung the pizza mixture in to the air!!!
I really enjoyed it and i enjoyed it very much.I cant wait to have another!

A few months ago p.6 went on a groovy trip to dominos were we made pizza and learned about kitchen hygiene.I loved the whole thing and want to do it again and agian.
