Shake to Wake at West Barns!
September 2nd, 2008 by notnetsToday 3 of the primary 7s went with Ms Finlayson to visit West Barns Primary School. They were there early to watch the West Barns P7s lead the whole school ‘Shake to Wake’. All of the West Barnes children participate in this every morning to get their day started, and they certainly looked wide awake by the end! P7 have prepared all the routines themselves. The Stenton P7s hope to do something similar here in the near future.

This sounds very interesting. Maybe Athelstaneford primary 7s could learn about shake to wake from Stenton in a few weeks?

Emily really enjoyed the Shake to Wake experience and promises to show me how to get going faster in the mornings.

Maybe if the weather lasts, we can do it in the playground and the parents can join in! I’m sure it would do us all good.
Ms Lewis, that sounds like a good plan. Perhaps we can eventually get the whole of East Lothian shaking awake in the morning.
