Stenton Primary School

The committee members for next session have been chosen. P5,6 and 7 applied for the position they most wanted and Ms Finlayson read the applications and allocated places on each of the committees.

The JRSOs will be Thomas and Ailsa. Miss Wood will assist the JRSOs.

The Pupil Council will have 4 members: Emily, Caroline, Sarah and Alexandra. Ms Finlayson will assist the pupil council who will have responsibility for ensuring we have a Healthy School next session.

The eco-committee, led by Mrs Doggett, will consist of 5 members, Katrina, Natalie, Olivia, Mhairi and Isabel, who will begin working towards green flag status.

Thank you to all of the pupils who applied for their well thought out applications. I am sure we will have another successful year in all these areas!

P 1-3 have completed their monster project with P1/2 at Athelstaneford. The children at Athelstaneford wrote descriptions of their own monsters and the Stenton children drew what they thought they looked like.

Next session, P1, 2 and 3 will use the blog to share some of their learning with parents and the community. We are all looking forward to learning how to use the blog!

Holly, Alisha, Rachel, Pippa and Ellyn came to visit us for the afternoon. They all made butterflies!

They also used the computers and played with the lego.
