Barry Smith
I’ve been teaching for 8 years, four of those as a Principal Teacher of Pupil Support. Started off at Eyemouth High School teaching Maths for two years, then on to New Zealland to Tamaki College teaching Maths for 15 months, an amazing experience, before returning to Eyemouth to take up a Pupil Support post.
I’ve been at Preston Lodge High School since April 2005 and started the Scottish Qualification for Headship in April 2006.
I am married with two small boys, Ruaridh and Myles.
I play and teach the djembe, a West African drum.
