Enterprise and ICT Event

The purpose of the day was to give the participants the ICT skills in order to plan and run a campaign based around an issue in their local community.
We ran two workshops, one on podcasting and the other on digital video. These were run by our tutors Ewan MacIntosh and Johnny Baxter. The chidlren and staff involved were extremely motivated by the event and were able to take away a number of skills to put into practice. The one thing I found fascinating was the power of the technology and what these young people were able to produce in such a short space of time.
We are all looking forward to seeing the completed campaigns at our showcase event on 5 June. It is hoped that these will be published on the web in due course.
