Our School August 27, 2008

We grouped these into categories - the building and playground, people who work in the school, pupils, parents and school rules. Primary 2/3 have been working on finding the answers to the questions about the building and playground. We have discovered how old the school is, when the extension was built, what materials the building is made from and when the school playground was made. We have discovered other interesting facts along the way. Did you know there is a bath in the staff toilet? One of the previous school masters is buried in Saltoun Graveyard. We are going to look for his grave stone tomorrow. We have displayed our findings on a learning wall in our classroom. Here is a photo of it.

What an exciting topic. Remember to look at the school Log Books to find out what the boys and girls did at Saltoun Primary School a long time ago. The books are kept in Miss Inglis’ filing cabinet.
