Roman Chariots P3/4 November 14, 2008
Posted by Law Middle in : Uncategorized , 1 comment so farA few days ago we made Roman Chariots. We made them out of recycled junk from home. We painted them in lots of different colours. They look really good and stand out really well. Later on we are going to make little people out of card. It was extremely good fun.
Drink technology November 6, 2008
Posted by Law Middle in : Uncategorized , add a commentA few weeks ago we made our very own drink. We could only use apple, orange, pineapple and cranberry juice. We all had to decide on which one was best and then we came up with a name. It was a suitable healthy drink for everyone. It was fun and I would be very happy if we could do it again.
Storytellers come to Law Primary. October 30, 2008

On Wednesday a lady came in to tell us stories. Her name was Lari Don. We liked how she made up the stories in her head and she had lots of expression in her voice. One story was from Orkney, one from Denmark and one from South Africa. She also told us some riddles and we had fun working them out.
If you know a riddle, could you please post it as a comment so that we can use it in our morning challenge?
You can make a difference October 2, 2008
Posted by Law Middle in : Uncategorized , 2commentsAs a clebration of our Green Flag Award we would like to continue making a difference. We read an article in First News about saving water and felt that we would like to do something using their 5 suggestions.
* taking a 4 minute shower instead of a bath
* turning the tap off when you are brushing your teeth
* placing cotton wool and tissue in the bin instead of flushing them down the toilet
* asking mum and dad to wait until the washing machine is full before switching it on
* washing bikes or parents’ car with a bucket and sponge instead of a hose-pipe
* filling the kettle with only the water you need
