Golden Time Extra May 15, 2008
Posted by jhunter in : Uncategorized , trackbackEvery 4 weeks we have a special Golden Time extra for everyone who has lost no golden time at all.We have 1 hour of extra golden time and get to choose which activity we want to do.Every teacher takes a group for an activity.Today we had activities such as clay , arts and craft,card making,dodgeball,rounders,football and lots more.Everyone involved had a great time.

Great slideshow Mrs Hunter- I love that tune.
The glass artists who worked with Mrs Peterson in my classroom produced some fabulously decorated jars, I was really impressed. They looked like they had a lovely time doing so too!

I enjoyed it very much, Miss Russell, and I’m sorry you didn’t get to join in….I’m quite sure you would have produced even more fabulous results!
Now that the glass painting group have made a first attempt, I think the same children would benefit from trying this activity again. Once you have tried a technique, the second time you have a go, you generally get an even better result, and the third time better still and so on. There were a lot of factors we didn’t take into account: for example how runny the paint is, how lumpy the black liner can be and how little paint you need. Onward and upward!.
