P4-The p4’s all did a Scottish Homecoming Advert to persuade people that had left Scotland to come
back.We were trying to make people come back to Scotland because it is a great country. We were doing lots of things like telling people about grey friars bobby, the loch ness monster, edinburgh castle’and lots more.Emily,Rebecca and Niamh.
P5-for the last two weeks p5s have been doing club golf and we are doing a golf competition.Putting ,in putting you have to keep the club on the ground.Full launch ,the full launch is the first shot in the game.Kerr and David
P6-For the last couple of weeks P6 have been foucussing on scottish landmarks. We all had to fill in major cities on to a map of Scotland in our home teams.Once we had finshed that challenge we all had to pick a scottish bridge, castle and find out facts about it and make a 3d model of the bridge, castle, modern day attractions, battlefields or landmarks. We all presented our models to the school.Gayle
P7-For the past couple of weeks p7m have been creating our own golf courses,we all came up with totally different ideas for names and the layout of the courses.Only four childen were chosen to make two golf courses 3D [shannon, jordan, liam and kurtis].The courses were made out of felt, art straws,paper,boxes,paper-mache and team work.We presented the two of them at assembly. We were set a homework task which was to study a famous scottish person and complete a project on that person, the projects were judged and the winners were Dollar 7m,Abbie 7m,Robyn 7s,Mekala 7p and Kira 7p.Beth,Ellie,Lucy and Jade 7s presented a bit about scottish inventors that we have also been learning about.
