Term 2 - World War 2

We have had a great time so far this term learning about the causes and effects of World War 2. We started by learning about World War 1 and how the events of the “Great War” led on to contribute towards the start of WW2. Many of the members of the class have brought in memorabilia from their families which is very much appreciated!

We have created a WW2 display in class with a timeline, photos and artwork which we are adding to throughout our topic. We have done lots of research using ICT and books, and we are going to create models of allotments and air raid shelter in Art and Design.

We have been researching the key figures from World War 2, and we have worked together as a year group to make beautiful pictures with plenty of information to make a gallery in our Primary 7 Area.

Hi P7AS, I’ve just been checking out your website and it looks great! You’ve got so many useful things on it like timetables, as well as great photos showing all the brilliant stuff you’re doing in P7.

Your 3D models of air raid shelters are absolutely fantastic too!
