A Day At The Sea

Crystal clear water,

Rippling against the rocks,

Crabs come nearer,

Wind goes farther,

Over the station the black smoke belches out

Helping Beautiful

I stared at the sky and,

I stared at the sea,

It went splish, splash, boom and whee,

The clouds above trickle and roar,

Bloob, pitter, patter the mountain galore.

The mountain up high and the sea down low,

The water shimmers clear and glows,

Up the water goes and goes,

Climate change grows more and more.

The clouds reflected the sea tonight,

Wondering what was that light,

The light above cracking through and through,

Shimmering on the rocks I knew.

The light in the sea,

Romantic and Bright,

 But pollution comes to mind,

And I will help this night.

Hydrant overflow

crack, bang, boom the fire hydrant is bulging.

Whoosh, splash, crash more water goes in that doesn’t come out.

Crank, crank, crank the opening is coming off.

whoosh, crank, whoosh, crank more water top going to burst.

Bang, roar the top comes off whoooosh out comes the water, bubbles and foam.

Splish,splash,splosh the water is gone.

RIVER RAPIDS

crash,roar,whoosh on the rocks

bubbling,frothing,foaming

splish,splash,splosh

spurting water on the rocks

fast flowing water

down the rockin river rapids

I was so impressed with your poems at Assembly. It is great having them on the website to share with more people. Well done!
