Going on a minibeast hunt!
Our class is studying minibeasts. We are looking for them outside in the school grounds and in our own gardens. We looked in the field and in vegetable patches.
We have found them on trees, under leaves and under stones. We sometimes found them under bark.

We found woodlice, spiders, snails, slugs, beetles and ants. We also found worms and millipedes.
We looked at them through a magnifying glass. We looked in books and on the internet to find out more about the minibeasts. We found a spider which shed its skin. Then we made sure that we put the minibeasts back exactly where we found them.

Your minibeast hunt sounds great fun.
Don’t you think woodlice look like tiny armadillos?
