Famtastic news - Primary 6B earned the most jewls last week, well done to all the children who worked hard to achieve this. I am very proud of you all. I hope pictures will follow of our fun time on the space hoppers to celebrate our success.

Welcome back!
I hope you all had a lovely October break. Now that we are all back at school there a few changes to tell you about. P.E will be on a Wednesday after sing along, I expect you all to bring a P.E kit. We will be continuing our Africa project for a couple of weeks then moving on to some new exciting work before Christmas.
You all worked very hard last term and have done well building a strong class community. Keep up the good work!

During art lessons we have been learning about the artist Andy Warhol. His style of art is called pop art. This means that he uses different bright colours to change the mood of his work. We drew our own self portraits and then Miss Budge copied the drawings so we had four each of ourselves. We then chose pastels to colour the four pictures in Warhol’s style. We will put a photograph on the website when the pictures are all completed.

Hello p6b.
This is your class website. I hope that we can use this page together to tell everyone what we are doing in class.
Over the next year we will be doing lots of interesting projects and hope to involve as many people as possible in helping us learn. We have made a start to our Africa topic so keep your eyes open for anything that may be useful and start asking parents/carers and anyone you can think of for help.
You will get Maths and Language homework on a Monday please complete it for a Thursday keeping it neat with titles and dates. You will also get reading at least twice a week, when we are up and running fully, please make sure it is signed and dated.
P.E is on a Wednesday and Thursday so please bring suitable P.E kit.
I am looking forward to a productive year full of hard work and lots of fun.
