Where are our numbers and letters?

It was important for us to spend some time, very early in the Enhanced Learning Provision ICT program, familiarising the pupils with the basic layout of the computer keyboard.

Being able to log in independently would be a massive step in the pupils’ personal progress on a number of levels. However, to get to that stage (sometime in the future) we needed to give them the confidence and equip them with the skills to allow them to navigate the keyboard - which looks a guddle of letters to most people at the best of times!

We are not talking about going QWERTY daft here. We are concentrating on providing the pupils with the most important fundamentals…and making sure they can retain these skills by working with them on a daily basis.
