It is that time of year again, when Preston lodge High School celebrates sporting achievements of the past yearThis year the award ceremony will take place on Thursday 13th March at 7pm.
We hope to confirm the speakers by the end of this week. The 2008 evening will be the 2nd annual ceremony , with a successful inaugural event last year when local hero Scott Murray attended. We aim to build on our success from last year and for the Sports Personality Evening to be key annual fixture in the Preston Lodge calender.
All extra-curricular teams will celebrate their success over the year and there will be awards for each team for Player of the Year and Most Improved Player of the year.
We will also be having a raffle and an auction on the evening.
Currently we have a:
Signed Manchester United Strip from this season
Signed Scotland Rugby Ball from this season
2 tickets for a Hibernian Football Club Match.
A round of golf for 4 people a the Royal Musselburgh
2 tickets for Musselburgh races
2 tickets for Edinburgh rugby
2 hospitality tickets for Edinburgh rugby
and not forgetting 2x £10 vouchers for our very own “Filling Station” in Prestonpans and Longniddry
Make sure when you are coming on the evening that you go home with one of the excellent prizes above that will be auctioned on the evening. If it is not for your son or daughter make sure you get some of the priceless prizes for yourself.
We are looking forward to the evening and hopefully we have as many people there as possible.
